Position Title : Audio/Visual Executive Support Engineer

Job Description:

NCR Atleos has an opening for an Audio/Visual Executive Desktop Support Technician at our global headquarters located in Atlanta, GA.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to operate and troubleshoot most AV equipment and systems:

• Projection systems / display devices

• Microsoft Teams Rooms

• Crestron control systems

• Switching / routing / interfacing technology

• Videoconferencing & Audio-conferencing technologies

• Technical understanding of AV and IT systems

• Up-to-date awareness of AV and IT technologies and their features

• Ability to operate Cameras, Video Switchers (V1) for Live Events

• Ability to read and follow AV system flow diagrams and support documentation.

• Performs site surveys and document requirements for Engineers and PMs

• Daily interaction with senior executive leaders and assistants.

• Technically strong and able to make quick, sound decisions.

• Provide conference & event support - Install, configure, monitor, and support.

• Coordinate needed hardware and software repairs and resolve computer system problems including coordination between users and components of a local area network.

• Coordinate with the Global Help Desk for any outages or issues related to equipment other than the typical desktop and AV issues.

• Must be able to thoroughly explain in simple terms new technology, the ability to explain complex technology changes in simple easy to understand terms.

• Must have the ability to work in a high-pressure environment including longer hours when necessary.

• Experience testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and diagnosing various AV/VTC and low-voltage systems

• Ability to operate related AV technologies required for the job, i.e. Town Hall events, conference room meetings, video conference based events (sometimes using Telepresence)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Strong and confident verbal and written communication skills with c-level executives.

• Output and efficiency driven mindset with a forthcoming attitude.

• Excellent troubleshooting skills & ability to follow a structured methodology to solve problems.

• Excellent teamwork and organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.

• Understanding of basic networking concepts.

• Ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism in high pressure situations.

• Must maintain a professional appearance on a regular basis.

• Ability to be on-call and work late hours & weekends occasionally as needed by the business.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Technical AV certifications such as CTS a plus

• Ability to operate related AV technologies required for the job, i.e. Town Hall events, conference room meetings, video conference based events (sometimes using Telepresence)

• Webex, Zoom: 3 years (Preferred)

• Cameras, Video Switchers (V1): 3 years (Preferred)
