Job Title: Associate Software Engineer

Job Duties: Build scalable, performant and user delight software solutions to drive value to the business. Follow standard PDLC/SDLC process to deliver engineering outcomes in the most efficient ways. Work closely with Product Owners to understand the business processes, analyze requirements and understand testing requirements. Timely and relevant communication of technology plans, decisions, and challenges to engineering leads and stakeholders.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as an Analyst, Software Developer or related. Must have any amount of experience with: programming languages including Java, Python, TypeScript and JavaScript; Java programming and unit testing frameworks including Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Junit and Mockito; varied forms of data infrastructure, including SQL and NoSQL databases; distributed data processing and storage solutions including Snowflake, Hadoop, HDFS, Spark and Cassandra; RESTful APIs, Microservice and Java APIs; web application architecture and experience developing Angular web application; source code version control tools including Git technologies; tools including Splunk to debug the Java application servers, Grafana dashboards to monitor the health of servers and AppDynamics to monitor web applications; and UI Test automation frameworks including Cypress.
