Job Title: Ariba Program Manager

Primary Location: Atlanta, GA, United States

Reports To: Senior Manager, Procurement Strategy and Operations

Job Description:

Responsible for driving adoption and efficiency of Newell Brands Global Procurement Policies through process and systems including Ariba Source-to-Pay and SAP ECC. Support technology-enabled Procurement initiatives by providing thought leadership and relentless execution. Collaborate with cross functional capabilities such as Accounts Payable, Strategic Sourcing, Finance and Operations to ensure policies, procedures, and goals are optimized across all functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Ariba related processes including: Contract Workspace Creation and Maintenance, Project and RFx creation and management, Purchase Requisition creation and maintenance, Good Receipt, Invoice Reconciliation and Supplier Enablement.

  • Optimize Ariba support model related to how-to questions, policy adherence and troubleshooting functional errors.

  • Support regional tactical buying activities that results in productivity, payment terms improvements, reduction of supplier tail.

  • Partner with Strategic Sourcing ensure the organization knows how to utilize various Ariba tools to drive productivity, cost avoidance and risk mitigation.

  • Collaborate within cross functional teams to test and implement new Ariba features on a monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Provide thought leadership and support during current and new project lifecycles

  • Implement sustainable best-practices that improve value delivery for all stakeholders.

  • Act as a advocate to key business stakeholders to develop and implement pragmatic solutions to complex problems.

  • Analyze existing procedures and identify opportunities to improve them by increasing effectiveness of execution and/or cycle times of resolutions.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of Procurement or demonstrated performance managing a comparable scope of responsibility

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA) required. Preferably in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or Management

  • Ariba Source-to-Pay or equivalent tool experience (i.e. Coupa, GEP, Basware, etc.)

  • Strong collaboration, interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Experience developing Training and supporting Change Management

  • Project Management experience

  • Process improvement experience preferably using Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Self-starter with strong time management skills and adaptability

  • Proficient with Microsoft suite of tools with intermediate to advance Excel skills

  • Must be highly motivated and able to drive results independently and as part of a team

  • Prior people management experience is a plus
