Robert Half is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Full Time Engagement Professional team. As a Full Time Engagement Professional you will be a full time employee of Robert Half earning a salary, comprehensive benefits, overtime and bonuses.

This is an ongoing opportunity for a strong Accounts Payable Specialist. As a Full Time Engagement Professional the more diverse your background the better! The ideal Accounts Payable Specialist should have experience with full cycle AP, 3 way matching, Batching invoices, Coding invoices and high volume processing of Payables. The Accounts Payable Specialist should have knowledge of many aspects of the AP process and duties including expense reporting and vendor set up. For this position you should have experience with reconciling payables to the sub ledger, any experience preparing journal entries is a big plus. This opportunity offers a challenging and multi-faceted opportunity where effort is rewarded.

Role & Responsibilities

• Matching, Batching, Coding, and entering invoices

• Posting and Reconciling Batches

• Researching and resolving exceptions

• Updating and reconciling the sub-ledger to the General Ledger

• Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules

• Utilizing V-Lookups and Pivot Tables in a recent version of Excel.

Requirements:

This Position requires

• A diverse background and a willingness to learn

• Technical knowledge and experience working in large accounting packages

• Strong Microsoft Excel Skills

• 3+ years of experience in accounting

• A willingness to adapt to different environments and situations

Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400

• Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Check Processing

• Proficiency in Data Entry

• Ability to resolve Discrepancies

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and professional ethics.
