Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is centered around financial operations within our dynamic team, with a focus on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks. The successful candidate will be expected to have a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of accounting software programs.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting regulations.

• Handle the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

• Record and validate financial transactions in the company's ledger.

• Manage account balances through regular reconciliation of bank and credit card statements.

• Compile and analyze financial reports, identifying discrepancies that require management's attention.

• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external clients.

• Ensure compliance with all internal processes and accounting regulations.

• Assist with financial audits and provide support during the budgeting and forecasting process.

• Perform other accounting duties and support the finance team as needed.

• Utilize accounting software programs, particularly QuickBooks, for various tasks. Requirements • Minimum of three years experience in a similar role

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with Concur software

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to handle various Accounting Functions

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficient in Billing Functions

• Knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks software

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Possess a high level of integrity and confidentiality

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
