Robert Half Accounting Manager in Atlanta, Georgia

Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Manager in Atlanta, Georgia. You will be joining a team within the industry where you will be in charge of managing and directing all accounting functions. This includes the collection and consolidation of financial data for both internal and external financial statements, as well as evaluating and improving accounting and internal control systems.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the operations of the finance department, including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll.

• Overseeing the month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, along with account reconciliations & G/L analysis.

• Preparing and presenting cash-flow reports, as well as forecasting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and managing daily cash.

• Ensuring the timing for monthly billing and other cash management techniques to facilitate timely cash collection.

• Presenting monthly financial reports to executive committee and partners.

• Assisting in the production of the annual budget and forecasts, and monitoring on a monthly basis.

• Utilizing skills such as Account Reconciliation, Audit, Journal Entries, General Ledger, Month End Close, Company Revenue Recognition, Workday, and Microsoft Excel in the execution of tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in auditing, with a strong understanding of audit principles and regulations

• Proficiency in US GAAP, demonstrating an ability to accurately apply these principles in financial reporting and analysis

• Expertise in IFRS Accounting, with the capability to interpret and apply international financial reporting standards

• Experience in month end close procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting

• Proficiency in using NetSuite for financial management and accounting purposes

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting
