Trinity Health Manager of Radiology in Athens, Georgia

Description:

Manages all departments under his/her charge directly and indirectly with the departmental supervisors and Team Leaders. Management of the departments includes, but is not limited to, process management, policy and procedure management, payroll management, development and adhering to departmental budgets and being responsible for monthly operating reports. Additionally the Radiology Manager, when called upon by the area supervisors, will assist in conflict resolution with staff. Radiology Manager will assist with patient complaint resolution. Works with the staff radiologists to facilitate process improvement and conflict resolution. This position will work directly with the Director of Radiology on all matters of staffing, operations, capital planning, budget planning and strategic planning and will communicate the needs and concerns of the department staff to the director as appropriate.

The Radiology Manager will work to ensure that imaging services works in conjunction with other hospital departments for positive patient outcomes. The Manager will fill in for the Director of Radiology during his/her absence. Will actively participate in change management to seek and strive for continuous process improvement.
