Position Summary:

EP Tech, Fulltime, Dayshift, in the Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab at St Mary’s Hospital , Athens, GA

What you will do:

  • Is responsible for the day to day clinical aspects of the Cardiac Cath Lab and ensures that all studies are performed and recorded in a safe, concise and professional manner in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for assuring procedural compliance with all nationally published standards. .

What you will need:

  • Certification/Registration: RCIS or RCES required. Current BLS and ACLS certification required.

  • Education/Experience: High school graduate. Successful completion of an approved Cardiovascular program. Minimum of three years clinical experience in Cardiac Cath Lab including interventional procedures and or Electrophysicology experience. Teaching and leadership experience preferred.

  • Special Qualifications: Have expert clinical understanding, technical skills and decision-making ability to perform, report and manage any patient safely during a Cardiac Cath Lab or EP procedures and have a detailed knowledge of the cardiac system and disorders.
