Our client is a global, research-driven pharmaceutical focusing on treatment options for diseases and conditions for which there is no satisfactory treatment option to date. The company is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join the team on 1 st shift ! This is an amazing opportunity to work on cutting edge treatments and make a difference!
Pay: $20/hr
Schedule: 1 st shift 7:45am-4:15pm
Location: Athens, GA
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for performing the activities associated with the preparation of vaccine components in an aseptic clean room environment utilizing virus and cell culture techniques according to USDA regulations
Ensure compliance to the Standard Operating Procedures during execution of processes.
Perform filling and support vaccine production activities
Operate equipment in appropriate manner and in accordance with requirements
Complete all associated documentation in compliance with requirement
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree Preferred
Clean room and aseptic technique knowledge.
Basic math skills, equipment/automation trouble shooting skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems.
