Job Title: Production Control Manager

Location: Athens, AL

Position Overview:

The Production Control Manager will be responsible for overseeing production planning, scheduling, and inventory management. This role is crucial to ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently, meeting the demands of our esteemed automotive clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.

  • Monitor production performance and adjust schedules as necessary to ensure timely delivery.

  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve production issues.

  • Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.

  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock of raw materials and finished products.

  • Lead and mentor the production control team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Prepare reports on production metrics, forecasting, and performance for management review.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in production control or manufacturing management, preferably in the automotive industry.

  • Strong understanding of production planning, inventory management, and lean manufacturing principles.

  • Proficient in production control software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Strong leadership and communication abilities.
