AccuForce is seeking a detailed and safety minded person to join our team. We are looking for a Chemical Management Coordinator for a large client in Elkmont, AL.

- Day Shift Opening: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM ( Training schedule is 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM)
- Occasional Mandatory weekend OT
- Starting pay: $19.00/ hour
Summary:
Manage, develop, implement and sustain safety related policies in regard to chemical management throughout the facility. Promote safety awareness and cultivate the safety culture throughout the location by actively communicating with all levels of employees through their work areas. Develop and direct the implementation of programs to assure management takes the actions needed to maintain chemical concentrations in all equipment for the facility.
Accountability:
- Implement, sustain, and use hands-on material as a guideline to support client facility.
- Responsible for overseeing chemicals as it relates to wastewater treatment process, coolant recycling, and coolant distribution.
Responsibilities:
- Interacts with all levels of employees at their work area to actively promote safety and the safety philosophy throughout the facility.
- Partners with management to set performance expectations. Suggests and communicates strategies and information to leaders and managers.
- Plans, promotes, organizes, and directs jobs as needed for optimal performance of equipment and machinery. Ensures sustainment of program procedures and advises management on problem correction found in preventative maintenance.
- Drives the development of plans to achieve short and long term goals.
Physical Demands:
- Takes a hands-on approach to chemical reduction. You will be walking through the facility, reaching with hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Moderate noise level in work environment and requires use of PPE.
- Ability to lift 50-60lbs at several intervals throughout the day.
