14 Full Time Seasonal H-2A Jobs available 05/28/2024 - 12/31/2024.

Primary job will be harvesting apples and peaches for fresh market and processing. Workers must be able to lift a 50lb bag as well as a ladder and be able to maintain a rate of picking a minimum of 16 bags per hour. Workers must be able to pick fruit bruise free and may have samples taken randomly to examine the quality of picking. Other primary work includes but is not limited to budding, digging, grading and bundling nursery trees to prepare for shipment. Secondary work will be picking peach seeds, planting, training, weeding, placing or removing tree guards, trimming, pruning, thinning, and other general care associated with fruit trees throughout the growing season. All equipment (ladder, picking bags, pruners, etc.) will be provided at no cost to the employee. General Conditions: a normal work week is 7a to 4p with a one hour unpaid lunch break. There will also be two 10-minute paid breaks during a full shift. Work schedules may vary in order to work around extreme weather conditions or other conditions that may affect the work or may be beyond the employers control, such as status of crop. If work is available beyond normal work days, employer may offer employees the opportunity to work additional hours or on the weekends. Employees may be requested to work up to 10 hours a day depending on weather or readiness of the crop, but will not be required to work more than 40 hours in a work week. Workers should expect occasional periods of little or no work because of the weather, crop or other conditions beyond the employers control. A copy of the agricultural work agreement and work rules containing all of the provisions as required by 10 CFR 655.122a will be provided to the worker in a language understood by the worker no later than at the time at which the worker applies for the visa, or to a worker in corresponding employment, no later than the date work commences. In the absence of a separate written contract entered into between the employer and the worker, the required terms of this job order and certified application for temporary employment certification will be the work contract.
