Our associates gain valuable experience here while meeting guests and coworkers from around the world, and in their free time they have a magical world of pristine mountain meadows, majestic waterfalls, peaceful old-growth forests, and much more to explore! Throughout the season we have regularly scheduled activities and day trips with transportation provided for associates, including trips to nearby adventures or cities like Seattle to visit Pike Place or catch a Mariners game! Employees with vehicles are only a short 2 hour trip away from exploring many destinations like Portland and Seattle on their own.Because of our unique location, room and board are provided to associates who do not live in one of our surrounding communities at a very low-cost via payroll deduction. Laundry facilities are provided at each dorm unit at no cost to employees. Employee meals are served in Employee Dining Rooms. We can also accommodate a limited number of RV units. If so, we want to hear from you!JOB DESCRIPTIONCleanall dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans both by hand and automatedmachine. Maintain cleanliness and properoperation of dish cleaning area and equipment. Assist culinary and other restaurant staff as needed.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSWash dishes, utensils, trays, and cooking supplies using proper sanitation procedures.Pull trash from trash receptacles. Replace trash bags as needed. Clear trash from tables and floors/grounds.Clean floor area of any spillage of water, detergent and/or food stuffs per safety and sanitation guidelines.Fill condiments, utensils, and other supplies with stock as needed.Loading and unloading of inventory from trucks. Stocking storeroom.Maintain the kitchen, serving, and dining areas in clean and orderly condition at all times by sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, wiping counters and equipment and organizing shelves in order to maintain a sanitary workstation and to meet mandated health compliance requirements.Assist chefs, line cooks, and dining room staff as necessaryKeep all trash cans double-lined and in sanitary conditionPerforms such other related duties as directed or requiredMaintain awareness of safety issues and report them immediately to your manager.SKILL ANDKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDEPartial High School; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferredStrong sanitation habitsAbility to recognize when a problem has occurred and report it to managementPhysical and MentalRequirementsMoving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit.Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environmentLift, carry, and push up to 15 lbs. regularly, 20-30 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionallyAble to stand for extended periods; climb steps regularlyFrequent immersion of hands in waterSpeech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of co-workers and the ability to speak clearly to be understood by same in EnglishReading and writing in EnglishConstantly communicates and receives verbal communication with other employees in fast paced kitchenWithstand temperature extremes in freezer, refrigerator walk-in and grill areas.
