Our associates gain valuable experience here while meeting guests and coworkers from around the world, and in their free time they have a magical world of pristine mountain meadows, majestic waterfalls, peaceful old-growth forests, and much more to explore! Throughout the season we have regularly scheduled activities and day trips with transportation provided for associates, including trips to nearby adventures or cities like Seattle to visit Pike Place or catch a Mariners game! Employees with vehicles are only a short 2 hour trip away from exploring many destinations like Portland and Seattle on their own.Because of our unique location, room and board are provided to associates who do not live in one of our surrounding communities at a very low-cost via payroll deduction. Laundry facilities are provided at each dorm unit at no cost to employees. Employee meals are served in Employee Dining Rooms. We can also accommodate a limited number of RV units. If so, we want to hear from you!Kitchen Storeroom ClerkJOB DESCRIPTIONResponsiblefor ordering, shipping, receiving, and rotating stock in the Paradise Innkitchen and bar. Assist in setting standards to adequately maintain thekitchen, food, and cleaning supplies. Maintain kitchen and storage areas tosanitation standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSReceive documentation and goods from warehouseOrder, receive and ensure security of bar stockInventory food and liquorDate product and rotate according to food handling processAssist in setting up and maintain storage standardsEnsure proper maintenance, and cleanliness of all refrigerator walk-in areasTake temperatures at regular intervals and maintain foods in sufficient quantities while minimizing production wasteAssist in maintaining kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning scheduleDeliver product from lower storage to main kitchenEnsure recycling program is followed in the departmentAdhere to food safety guidelines including ServSafe and HACCPPlace orders, schedule and process payroll with direction from the Food and Beverage ManagerPlace maintenance work ordersAttend and participate in safety meetingsPerforms such other related duties as directed or requiredSKILL ANDKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDEPartial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferredPossess or be able to successfully complete ServSafe certification; strong sanitation skillsPossess knowledge of or be able to learn culinary terms and practices; able to prepare basic items by following recipesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailPhysical and MentalRequirementsMove about to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit.Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently; move in a constantly changing environmentLift, carry, and push up to 25 lbs. regularly, 25-50 lbs. frequently, and up to 60 lbs. occasionallyAble to withstand temperature extremes in freezer, walk-in refrigerator, and cooking areasAble to stand for extended periods and climb steps regularly with heavy itemsAble to work in a hot environment and at an altitude of 5,400 feetSpeech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of co-workers and the ability to speak c
