What you would do as our Installation Coordinator

Sunray Engineering Limited are a leading and specialist Manufacturer and Installer of Steel & Timber Security and Fire Doors, as well as associated products such as Louvre Panels, Solid Panels, Access Hatches and further enhanced products for Blast and Ballistic protection. We now seek to enhance the skills within our Installation team with a Installation Coordinator. The role will focus on providing day-to-day scheduling for site work for the External Installation team by way of following sites procedures ensruing RAMS are completed and site inductions alloacted within a strict time parameters alongside other duties within the team.

You would also:

  • Confirm once placed within the T. Card system installation works for Sunray Customers direct by confirming and arranging site installation dates in-line with delivery schedule provided by Production Co-ordinator/Administrator.

  • Schedule and plan the service and maintenance orders, liaising with sub-contract labour and clients, issuing all relevant paperwork for the works, before, during and after maintenance has taken place, advising sale’s department if quotation is required.

  • Schedule and plan Site Surveys with installation teams, issuing all relevant paperwork, once complete process the information to the sales department for quotations of work.

  • Complete and issue RAM’s & COSH assessments to site contacts prior to installation date, this should be completed within a strict time parameter.

  • Complete and issue upon installation confirmation the installations pack with any given site contact, so that Site Inductions can be completed and organised.

  • Process the completion of installation paperwork, scan and add documents along with photos onto the Q-Files and process and submit Subcontractor invoices weekly.

    The skills and experience you need

    We are looking for someone who:

  • Has previous experience/knowledge in similar coordinator role.

  • Has strong attention to detail and proven ability in managing customer orders to completion.

  • Is proficient in using MS Excel, Epicor/Vantage/SAP (advantage).

  • Has good communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Is highly organised and can prioritise workloads effectively.
