FEMA Public Assistance (PA) Program Delivery Manager

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) Program Delivery Manager will be responsible for providing support to Hurricane Helene/Milton clients associated with the FEMA PA Program and/or other special programs as needed. The FEMA PA Program Delivery Manager will support clients on-site.

Candidates for FEMA PA Program Delivery Manager will be considered for contract-based positions.

Responsibilities for the FEMA PA Program Delivery Manager Include:

  • Providing support for financial duties supporting a disaster recovery program, including gathering documentation, developing procedures, performing financial reconciliation, ensuring guidance / policy compliance, creating reports, and other tasks as assigned by the client.

  • Drafting guidance to clients on the eligibility of FEMA PA costs related to disasters.

Qualifications for the FEMA PA Program Delivery Manager Include:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience preferably in management consulting or in a role directly supporting the FEMA PA Program.

  • A bachelor-s degree in a related field (e.g., economics, political science, public policy, emergency management, business administration).

  • Previous experience with financial analysis and reconciliation.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

  • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications for the FEMA PA Program Delivery Manager Include:

  • Experience with federal grant programs, specifically including FEMA PA.

  • Previous experience advising applicants on the eligibility for FEMA PA costs related to disasters.

  • Previous experience supporting disaster recovery programs, including financial reporting, cost tracking, grant formulation, or grant audit and closeout.

  • Master-s degree in a related field (e.g., public administration, business, finance, construction management, emergency management).

Compensation for the FEMA PA Program Delivery Manager Includes:

  • Salary range of $70,000 - $110,000. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, location, travel requirements, and other business and organizational needs.
