Who are we? An Introduction DDRC is a 501(c)3 Colorado nonprofit organization whose mission is serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and providing support to their families.
What it's like to be an overnight Direct Support Professional - DSP As a Overnight Full-Time Direct Support Professional at Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, you will have the exciting opportunity to supervise and guide individuals with developmental disabilities in a vibrant community residential setting. Your role as a caregiver will encompass a variety of essential supports, including medication administration, providing assistance with daily living needs, and providing basic first aid. You'll ensure safety by staying awake during the night to make sure everyone's needs are met and people are comfortable.
Additionally, you'll complete meal preparation, deep clean areas of the home and ensure all documentation is complete. With a keen attention to detail, your empathetic approach will make a significant impact on their everyday lives.
