As an Account Manager in the Direct & Indepents team, you will be required to develop and service relationships with Independent Media agencies, and direct clients to provide strategic and creative sales opportunities across FOXTEL MEDIA channels, platforms and sites.
Reaching revenue targets each month and quarter; including personal targets, team targets and channel targets
High level of market presence (including face to face meetings) to build and nurture relationships with independent media agencies and direct clients
Proactively prospect new business through a range of tactics to uncover new independent agencies and direct clients
Proactively develop timely and relevant briefs with new, creative and sellable ideas
Acquire new advertisers and retain existing advertisers
Assist in effectively managing a coordinator by monitoring performance against targets and KPIs, providing feedback for performance reviews and planning and executing formal and informal training
Ensure booking schedules are accurate and oversee campaign delivery and post analysis
Being proactive in sourcing opportunities to address revenue needs
Adhere to sales team side of booking process in line with Trading team guidelines
Skills and Experiences We’re Looking For
Recent sales experience working within media industry
Track record of prospecting and closing new business
Experience and success within responding to media advertising briefs
Ability to manage workload of a team and across the sales floor to ensure delivery of high level agency and client service
Demonstrate focus & clear decision making ability under pressure and also have the ability to adapt quickly
Encourage development of others & share best practice across the floor
Establish strong personal profile internally and externally at appropriate level
Constantly looking for and identifying personal development needs and seeking regular feedback
