IBM Corporation Application Developer in Armonk, New York
Application Developer, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Perform analysis, design, and develop J2EE business applications, web-based and n-tier applications. Work closely with business Unit-IT and the solutioning/architecture team in carrying out requirement analysis, feasibility study, architecture design and subsequently development of the solution. Work in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Ace Framework. Create and maintain architecture for Restful API's using spring Boot. Perform web services testing (SOAP/REST). Perform continuous integration using tools. Design and develop Junit test cases during the development phase. Perform integration of Spring with Hibernate as the data abstraction to interact with the databases. Track and report defects using defect tracking tools. Utilize: Java, Python, Git, Spring Framework, Rest API, SOAP API, AWS. Required: Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science, information technology or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master’s degree) and one (1) year of experience as an Application Developer or related.
