Welcome, Foodie! This is your dream job. Now looking for passionate and driven individuals with smiling faces to join our retail team! This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to manage our retail outlet. The store manager is responsible for maintaining the Achatz reputation of excellent customer service while upholding Achatz procedures!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Above all else, providing excellent customer service

  • Responsible for preparation and submission of store sales reports, deposits and balancing/reconciling overages and shortages on a daily basis.

  • Uphold all policies and procedures

  • Hiring, training, and other human resource functions with team

  • Place inventory orders as well as verify and reconcile orders placed and received.

  • Store Manager sets store goals and leads by example to exceed the goal.

  • Motivating personnel to learn more about the company and cross-train employees to take on additional responsibilities.

  • Responsible for keeping the store fully operational at all times (i.e. organization, maintenance, etc.).

  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

  • Training to take over store manager positions for one of our locations or new stores!

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Self-motivation: Having the ability to do what needs to be done, without influence from someone else. Being a SM, you always have to accomplish tasks on your own and always have to think further down the road than what’s right in front of you. Have the ability/confidence to see where we can improve and implement it, work smarter not harder!

  • Positive, Passionate, Enthusiastic Attitude: Having a positive, enthusiastic attitude encourages your employees to keep that same attitude. A combination of that and a smile on your face will always keep the customers coming back! Being passionate about the product and company makes that attitude genuine and customers see that. Customer service, cash handling, and previous retail/and or food business experience is preferred.

  • Adaptability, Flexibility, Dependability: Things are always changing, you have to be able to adapt to it. Whether it’s a new product/procedure or a schedule change, it’s important for a SM to be able to adapt to it without issue. Flexibility is important too because a SM’s schedule changes depending on the needs of your store. This may involve staying past scheduled shift time in order to better serve our customers!

  • Efficient and Effective : (Sense of Urgency w/ accuracy) Customers like to see you’re getting their order together as quickly as possible. No one has time to waste. Your employees should follow suit when they see you working quick and accurate. Get more done in less time, with minimal mistakes.

  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate others: Some personalities are more dominate than others, and a SM needs to be able to motivate and lead any personality.
