Blue Origin LLC Production Support Specialist II in Arlington, Washington

This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a hardworking team of diverse specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will be part of a hardworking team of technicians, engineers, program managers and specialist, supporting the system prototyping & rapid development of different programs within our Advance Manufacturing Division. This is a hands-on position that requires strong communication, organization, attention to detail and most importantly, drive to solve day to day operational challenges. Special Mentions Relocation provided Shifts available: Shifts available: A shift Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm Interviews will include a technical assessment Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Coordinate with Production Control to strategically control the flow of materials to manufacturing work centers. Coordinate interdepartmental activity warehouse, quality inspection, non-conformance review board, purchasing, and logistics. Schedule and expedite the movement of parts by means of move orders, stock transfers and requests for shipping orders Continuously monitor and respond to technician parts needs, including replacements for non-conforming parts, delivery of items to complete the operations, moving parts to the next work center, and other duties as requested Monitor the flow/velocity of jobs through the production line and partner with Production Control to ensure work completes on time to schedule. Work cross functionally to expedite any material shortages. Enter material transactions in ERP system. Process Scrap and obsolete inventory from WIP locations as required. Prepare for, conduct, and assist in reconciliation of cycle counts. Maintain clean and safe work areas following company policies and industry best practices (5S). Must be able to work well with others, take direction and execute swiftly, be mindful of process improvement opportunities, and be able to problem solve. Identify, catalog, and report manufacturing delays, sources, and resolutions needed to Operations Supervisors and Managers Based upon job duties, may need to work in various areas that may cause exposure to fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals (well below OSHA and ACGIH exposure guidelines), outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts and/or be part of a hearing conservation program due to noise levels around certain equipment. Operate various equipment in support of daily operations. This includes but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, lift tables etc. to ensure safe hardware handling operations. Assist in the implementation of a robust materials management process that reflects best practices, to include material purchasing, handling, storage, control, and distribution of MRO inventory.
