What You’ll Be Doing

Cadmus seeks a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to lead the talent acquisition team and to be the project manager for the firm’s organization-wide efforts to ensure that all recruiting activities are modern and aligned with the goals of the organization. This position oversees the team that sources and hires the best talent for Cadmus and is also responsible for designing and implementing internal process changes.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in leading collaborative recruiting programs and initiatives using a data-driven focus. The Talent Acquisition Senior Manager sets priorities for recruiting goals and implements improvements aligned to corporate strategic imperatives. This role is responsible for leading efforts for corporate, domestic (US) and international, and contingent/proposal roles. You will lead a team of recruiting professionals and report to the CHRO.

Responsibilities

  • Leverages their experience with best practices and brings a modern, growth-focused approach in support of the business to plan, organize, and direct our recruiting programs.

  • Builds trusted partnerships throughout the organization in support of the recruiting function.

  • Directs the overall resources to ensure timely/quality response to internal customer needs.

  • Create, maintain, and analyze weekly staffing reports for the senior executive team.

  • Works closely with the HR Technology team to collect and coordinate aggregate data for talent pool and uses data analysis to drive deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels that include all compliance and reporting requirements.

  • Meets with senior managers on an on-going basis to identify and review requirements and responsiveness to organizational needs.

  • Hires, trains, manages, and mentors new and existing recruitment staff, communicating performance goals and operating procedures, offering consistent performance feedback and resolution to complex problems.

  • Develops and implements creative sourcing strategies, processes and activities related to the identification and attraction of top talent across functions and levels – building a pipeline of talent while driving organizational and process improvements.

  • Introduces creative leading edge recruiting techniques and metrics to enhance effectiveness and overall client satisfaction while reducing time to hire and cost per hire.

  • Leverages knowledge in all areas of sourcing such as social media, networking, employee referrals, job postings, college recruiting and internship programs, as well as conducting open houses and virtual job fairs.

  • Manages the full life cycle recruitment and coordination with larger HR Team for candidate onboarding.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's (or equivalent) with 15+ years of experience and at least 5 years in a management role.

  • Recruitment and project management experience in Federal Contracting with civilian agencies and International Development, preferably with USAID experience.

  • Excellent leadership skills coupled with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

  • Thorough understanding of modern recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills coupled with effective project management and organizational skills.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and delegate when appropriate.

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills to include negotiation skills.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times demanding environment.

  • Extensive experience with applicant tracking tools (iCIMS tool knowledge a plus) to include OFCCP and affirmative action plan requirements.

  • Strong presentation skills with proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Additional Information:

  • Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.

  • Office location is Arlington, Virginia in the Ballston area and this role is hybrid with three days required in office.

Based on eligibility and job status, Cadmus offers an excellent benefits package to include: medical, dental, vision, company paid disability and life insurance, 401(k) program, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, voluntary time off (VTO), tuition reimbursement, adoption assistance program, other optional benefits and various bonus programs.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $150,000. The actual salary may be higher and will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
