We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Army Operational Senior Advisor to provide strategic guidance and operational expertise to senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of military operations, leadership, and strategic planning, with a proven track record of success in high-level advisory roles. This role will also focus on the application of technology and future requirements, including modernization efforts.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Provide expert advice and strategic guidance to senior leadership on a wide range of operational matters, including planning, execution, and evaluation of military operations.
Conduct comprehensive analysis of current and emerging operational challenges and develop recommendations to address these challenges effectively.
Assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans, policies, and initiatives to enhance the operational capabilities of the Army G2.
Evaluate the integration of new technologies and modernization efforts into operational planning and execution to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of operational objectives and priorities with broader strategic goals.
Monitor and assess the effectiveness of ongoing operations and provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership.
Represent the organization in high-level meetings, conferences, and forums, providing insights and thought leadership on operational matters.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership to support the overall mission and objectives of the organization.
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Military Science, Strategic Studies, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in military operations, with at least 5 years in a senior advisory or leadership role.
Deep understanding of Army operations, tactics, techniques, and procedures, with experience in planning and executing complex military operations.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct detailed analysis of operational challenges and develop effective solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
