Koniag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company , is seeking a LAN Administrator - Senior with an active Top Secret clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Arlington, VA.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  1. Installer/ VTC facilitator

  2. System installer

  3. Inventory received hardware

  4. Pre-install build of system

  5. Install system hardware in equipment rack

  6. Wire hardware following system drawings

  7. Prep room

  8. Remove old system hardware and wiring

  9. Turn removed hardware over to gov rep

  10. Hardware install

  11. Install new system wiring to according to cable pull list

  12. Install system hardware to system drawings

  13. Manually route all sources to verify the routes

  14. VTC administrator

  15. Receive request for meeting or video teleconference session (VTC)

  16. Meeting setup

  17. Add meeting to AVU calendar

  18. Check that resources are available for meeting

  19. Unlock AV system control panel in room and set room for meeting assist customer is needed

  20. VTC setup

  21. Request dial in number from Video Program office or Secure communications

  22. Send requester dial in information

  23. Add VTC to Calendar with meeting title, room number and classification

  24. Unlock AV system control panel in room and dial VTC conference number, assist customer if needed

  25. Yearly inventory

  26. Perform yearly inventory

  27. Work with asset team to inventory video teleconferencing assigned to VTC location code.

  28. Work with regional field technicians for account for hardware located in regional field offices

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
