Cambridge International Systems Inc IT Support Assistant in Arlington, Virginia

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. has full-time Mid and Senior IT Support Assistant opportunities available based in Arlington, VA. Qualified candidates for this job must possess a current DoD Secret security clearance and be eligible for DoD Top Secret clearance.

This position is contingent upon contract award with an expected start date is March 2024.


  •  Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone or self-service ticket in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, system/application access, and telecommunications systems.

  • Diagnoses, identifies, isolates, and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records.

  • Route calls to product line specialists, application, or system support specialists.

  • Maintains and updates records and tracking databases.

  • Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.  


  • Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.

  • Must have active passport.


  • Bachelor’s Degree and 1+ years of experience in DOD environment OR High School and 2+ years of experience in DOD environment


  • Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of experience in DOD environment OR High School and 5+ years of experience in DOD environment


  • Security+ and/or CCNA, CCNP certifications.


    Cambridge International Systems complies with Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements.  If this position requires OCONUS travel (listed above), Vaccine Recommendations by AOR | Health.mil lists applicable current vaccination requirements by location.

    Office setting:

  • Must be able to work in an office environment, sitting at a desk, looking at a computer for most of the workday.

  • Work is physically comfortable; the employee has discretion about sitting, walking, standing, etc.

  • May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
