Govini Executive Assistant in Arlington, Virginia

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to the CEO who will serve as a key enabler of our rapidly growing and mission-driven company. The ideal candidate for this fast-paced role excels in a high-growth environment, effectively prioritizes and manages multiple streams of work, can independently problem-solve, and aids the CEO in managing and navigating commitments.

To do this job well, you take initiative, collaborate with teams across the organization, and operate with professionalism, discretion, and resourcefulness. Succeeding requires mastery of time management and exceptional organizational prowess. Key responsibilities include a wide range of executive-level administrative tasks.

This role is a full-time position located in our Arlington, VA office.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • Expertly manage the CEO’s evolving schedule and priorities and streamline their daily operations

  • Expertly coordinate the CEO’s calendar, schedule meetings, and resolve conflicts Develop a keen sense of the CEO’s priorities and how best to optimize time and commitments

  • Regularly interact with senior stakeholders on behalf of the CEO with professionalism and discretion

  • Handle incoming and outgoing communication with confidentiality and urgency

  • Create presentations & decks, prepare deliverables, and distribute meeting materials

  • Ensure in-person events, meetings, and appointments are seamless from creation to execution, including communication, materials, catering needs, IT and room booking

  • Book, adjust, and monitor travel booking needs alongside ground transportation, hotel accommodations, and itineraries

  • Assist with other administrative functions and ad hoc projects as needed

  • Assist with planning and executing company events and offsite

  • The role requires availability outside of standard business hours as needed to support urgent and time-sensitive tasks.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2+ years of C-level administrative support experience

  • Experience working in ambiguous and fast-paced environments

  • Capable of producing high-quality content on short deadlines

  • Ability to manage multiple streams of work and plan, organize, and prioritize appropriately

  • Fast learner and able to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Exceptional attention to detail; ability to consistently produce timely and error-free work

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Superb judgment and proven ability to handle confidential information

  • Enthusiastic team member with a positive disposition and attitude

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or other entrepreneurial environment

  • Masters Degree preferred
