GCyber AWS Cloud Engineer in Arlington, Virginia

GCyber is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer, to support a high profile DISA customer in their mission to improve collaboration and information sharing between defense and intelligence organizations. As the AWS Cloud Engineer, you will provide continuous development and integration solutions.

As the AWS Cloud Engineer, you will:

 

  • Design, build, and maintain solutions using Amazon C2S-enabled architectures and tools like Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Lambda, and S3 to support efficient operations.

  • Develop and implement automated acceptance, integration, and regression testing processes to ensure consistent quality and smooth operations.

  • Manage and sustain unclassified and classified integration and testing environments, both on-premises and in the cloud, validating all technologies before production deployment.

  • Enhance CESO environments by improving cloud infrastructure and architecture, supporting continuous development and integration with modern tools and practices.

  • Actively participate in release management, staging, and deployment processes while maintaining clear documentation for streamlined knowledge transfer.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

     

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance

  • BA/BS Degree (additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)

  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification or higher (i.e., Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP)

  • 6+ years of relevant experience with expertise in cloud technologies and infrastructure-as-code concepts.

  • Hands on experience implementing Amazon C2S enabled architectures and tools to include Ansible, Cloud Formations, Terraform, JMETER, EC2, ELB, RDS, Lambda, Puppet, Docker, GIT, and S3.
