Amazon Associate Contracts Manager, Ads Legal in Arlington, Virginia
Description
Amazon is looking for a talented Associate Contracts Manager to join our dynamic Legal team to help support our growing advertising business. We're looking for someone who can identify and implement process improvements, enjoys working with different teams, and loves the challenge of learning new subject matter and issues.
The successful candidate will possess the ability to work efficiently and collaboratively with peers, team members and other stakeholders throughout the company; complete a high volume of tasks and projects quickly and with little guidance; prioritize urgent projects and issues effectively; take action without having perfect information; think creatively and work cross functionally to solve problems; and advise business partners on routine operational matters.
The candidate will also have great attention to detail while still meeting tight deadlines, have great organizational skills and demonstrate the ability to be flexible as needed to achieve goals.
Key job responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of third-party contractual relationships, including insertion orders, advertising agreements, and NDAs; utilizing internal processes to track transactions from beginning to end; troubleshooting processes and systems; coordinating with principal business partners; and advising on legal issues across our teams.
Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years of contracts management, paralegal, or other comparable experience within a law firm or legal department.
• Experience working with third parties on contractual relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
• In-house contracts management experience
• Advertising industry experience
• Ability to work well cross functionally
• Fluency in the MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat, and Salesforce preferred
• Strong technical skills with the ability to learn and utilize several different software solutions
• Experience reviewing, drafting and negotiating the legal terms of a broad range of standard commercial contracts
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Bachelor's degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $112,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
