GCyber Asset Management Specialist - Imaging Technicna in Arlington, Virginia
GCyber is hiring an Asset Management Specialist / Imaging Technician, to help support the DISA JS user community at the Pentagon. As an Asset Management Imaging Technician, you will apply your comprehensive knowledge of asset management Imaging to ensure asset management services are delivered in a timely fashion. You will provide input to configuration management planning; Assist in provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits; Participate in the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into the customer infrastructure. Assist in the workforce analytical and planning experience and using sound judgment in carrying out asset management tasks. You will also assist in identifying, researching and resolving problems.
As the Asset Management Specialist, you will:
Images and reimages desktops, laptops and tablets using PXE boot in Microsoft SCCM/MECM
Will follow written instructions provided by Team Leads and Imaging Manager
After image has been laid down the technician will validate the image using their Administrator Accounts
Technician will report to Team Lead and Imaging Manager any discrepancies or errors with the image
Technician will create SNOW tickets to report image failures and track progress to resolution
Supports distribution of equipment, monitors inventory and analyzes requirements in order to monitor and ensure desired delivery times
Duties include unboxing computers from warehouse, tracking assets in SNOW tickets, working with DPAS Property Custodians to assure proper asset tracking.
And other assigned duties.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Security+ certification and one other approved certification like (Window Operating System Security)
Sitting for long periods
Standing for long periods
Ambulate throughout an office
Ambulate between several buildings
Stoop, knee, crouch or crawl as required
Repeatedly lift and carry weight up to 50 pounds
