Position Summary:

Reporting to the Accounting Manager the Accounts Receivable Associate is responsible for supporting customer-related financial transactions including the invoicing process, monitoring accounts receivable, ensuring timely payment from customers, and supporting the Member Development team.

Primary Job Duties:

•    Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot the automated dunning notices

•    Issue invoices, post payments, and document all actions in relation to accounts

•    Periodic review of contracts and complete the invoice processing cycle

•    Review and analyze the accounts receivable aging report to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate action to resolve them

- Contact our members to resolve payment related issues and secure payment commitments

•    Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment status in the company's database

•    Collaborate with other departments, such as Sales and Account Management, to resolve customer issues and disputes

•    Assist other accounting team members to accomplish department goals and objectives

•    Support any annual or interim financial audits

•    Update the CRM data with regards to accounts receivable and collections

•    Provide support for ad-hoc projects

Minimum Qualifications:

•    1+ years of experience in a customer-focused role in Accounts Receivable (AR) or Collections

•    Proficient in Excel, Salesforce, Teams, and Outlook – Excel Assessment

•    Strong analytical skills combined with good business judgment

•    Bachelor’s degree (finance or accounting related) from an accredited college/university preferred

•    Experience with NetSuite a plus

•    Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner.

•    Comfortable with routine phone calls/outreach to members

•    Team approach to working with others and ability to work independently

•    Process oriented with the ability to drive a project to completion

•    Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment including a variety of duties within any work-day

•    Attention to detail and accuracy

•    Self-directed and resourceful 

•    Technical and Financial aptitude 

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, and distance vision, and the ability to work with screens or monitors for prolonged periods of time. This position is primarily a sedentary job where the team member will be seated for the majority of the day.

Compensation:

Starting salary is $50,000 per year plus benefits
