Registered Nurse (RN) Medical-Surgical Neuro (Days/Nights)


Currently recruiting a full-time days or nights Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Neuro in Arlington, Texas, for a 432-bed full-service hospital located in the heart of the growing South Arlington area. Our team consists of well over 1,000 full-time and part-time nurses, therapists, technicians, and other healthcare personnel and nearly 700 highly skilled physicians who represent a wide variety of medical specialties.

The Med Surg Neuro Floor provides care to a group of patients with stroke, epilepsy and general Neurology conditions. Our fast paced 26 bed unit is staffed with a team-oriented group of caring Nurses and clinical professionals including Tech support. Our team enjoys exceptional Management support, an Educator on the floor and opportunities for continued growth and advancement.

Job Qualifications of the Med-Surg Neuro RN:

  • Current Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted.

  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association required.

  • BSN is highly preferred; May look at a ADN candidate if candidate has several years of med-surg experience, must be enrolled for BSN within 6 months of hire and complete program within 36 months (3yrs). All ADN offers needs to be approved by the CNO.

  • Must have at least 1 year of recent acute care med-surg experience.

  • 35 beds in unit.

    Compensation and Benefits of the Med-Surg Neuro RN:

  • Salary: $28.64-$42.95 (Max 20 years); based on years of experience.

  • Shift differential: Night Shift $3.75 per hour; Weekend $4.30 per hour

  • Relocation $3,000 and sign-on bonus up to $7,500 for exceptionally qualified candidate.

  • Matching 401(k) contributions ranging from 3-9%.

  • PTO starting at 4 weeks per year.
