Job Summary
The AO BSN Program Manager coordinates all activities associated with the undergraduate pre-licensure baccalaureate nursing program for a geographical region (as assigned) in Texas to ensure the successful completion of courses and the program as established by the Undergraduate Nursing Department and its faculty. Expected to work 12-month calendar.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Collaborate with partner hospitals and site coordinators to prepare for student clinical placements, including coordination of labs, supplies, student badges, simulation experiences, and testing space.
Coordinate student testing times and schedules in alignment with site coordinators.
Coordinate clinical days and units for AO BSN students within the DFW area, working closely with the Undergraduate Clinical Facilities Coordinator.
Manage the placement of clinical groups across various specialties at hospitals outside the DFW area.
Organize and conduct orientations for students and instructors at assigned clinical sites, representing the College of Nursing and Health Innovation during program and university orientations.
Conduct periodic site visits to support AO Clinical Instructors during clinical sessions.
Develop and distribute clinical and testing schedules for assigned AO BSN students.
Program Administration
Assist in coordinating the interview process for prospective AO Clinical Faculty in collaboration with AO Lead Teachers and relevant team members.
Participate in weekly AO Work Group Meetings to discuss ongoing initiatives and improvements.
Contribute to the development of processes and systems for the AO program, ensuring alignment with existing BSN program policies and procedures.
Responsible for the design, execution, and effectiveness of a system of internal controls which provides reasonable assurance that department operations are effective and efficient, department assets are safeguarded, department financial information is reliable, and the department complies with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in nursing.
Current license as a registered nurse in the state of Texas.
