Insight Global Facilities/Utilities Engineer (Mechanical or Industrial) in Arlington, Tennessee

Job Description

A Client/Employer in Memphis, TN is looking for a Facilities/Utilities Mechanical Engineer. These engineers must be flexible to support any shift in a 7-day work week. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and managing annual maintenance and repair plans and budgets, ensuring the facility remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. You will oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems, and handle renovation requests and purchase orders. Additionally, you will manage facility maintenance and repair performance, as well as annual investment plans and budgets. Your duties will include;

Reviewing facility investment techniques, construction drawings, and making simple modifications.

Writing specifications for new constructions, prepare construction documents for public use, and manage facility investment performance.

Reviewing and repair facilities based on system requests, revise the facility operation manual, and conduct regular inspections.

Identifying and addressing facility abnormalities, optimizing operation efficiency, managing pipes, and analyzing energy usage trends are also key responsibilities.

Identifying energy-saving opportunities, manage monthly energy-saving performance, and conduct operational safety inspections.

Create and manage documents required by PSM/ISO, take measures to improve facilities, correct non-conformities, and supervise mechanical facility construction projects.

Skills and Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering

3-5 years experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Manufacturing background

Experience working in a large facility Gas boiler, NMP-related certification

Experience with utility equipment null
