Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

Program components, features, and feature sets. Lead design discussions and provide enterprise level architecture design. Design and implement user stories and features following the rigor in code quality. Drive technical discussions, lead technical designs, and demonstrates the ability to make technology choices after due diligence and impact assessment. Present technical ideas through white boarding. Maintain code quality through unit testing and code quality automation. Responsible for the whole product, its modules, and understanding the interrelationship between them.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering (any) or Mathematics) or a related field, and 8 years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in a related occupation. Alternatively, the position requires a Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering (any) or Mathematics) or a related field, and 5 years of experience in a related occupation. The position also requires: 5 years of experience combined / total experience in software development using JAVA/J2EE technologies, Spring, Hibernate, JPA, or web services; 4 years of experience with using design patterns; 5 years of experience with SQL; and 4 years of enterprise/system level architecture design. Role is 100% remote. Telecommuting permitted. Position reports into the company headquarters.
