About the role: In this role, you would be responsible for advancing automated testing, maturing existing test infrastructure, and improving system quality in new and existing medical device systems. This unique opportunity involves end-to-end testing of medical device systems, including implantable medical devices, mobile applications, and patient management systems. Your responsibilities will include: Develop and maintain high quality non-medical device software tools in a regulated environment. Execute automated test protocols at scale, perform failure analysis, and improve performance and reliability of existing suites. Transform requirements into test protocols and automated test scripts for end-to-end evaluation. Interface with electrical and mechanical hardware and associated tools and infrastructure. Coordinate system evaluation activities (i.e., validation, verification). Write reports based on results from evaluation activities. Demonstrate commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures. Promote a work environment that supports the Quality Policy and Quality System. Performs other related duties as assigned. The candidate must meet the following requirements: Bachelors (5+ year experience) or Masters (3+ year experience) in a related field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or Systems Engineering 3+ years of experience in software / hardware testing. 3+ years of experience in automated testing. Ability to collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data; summarize findings; develop conclusions and recommendations from all stakeholders. Ability to analyze test results and perform risk analysis required. Required Technical Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with mobile device testing and automation tools like Appium, Selenium, Robotium, Geb/Spock. Experience working in iOS, Android operating systems. Experience with Perl, Python, C/C++, and/or Java Experience with change management and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, AccuRev, GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket, Windchill, DOCS). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in DevOps, CI/CD Experience / proficiency in MySQL and HTML. Experience in XML/XSL/XSD Experience in cybersecurity testing Ability to interpret and apply regulations and standards relevant to class II/III medical devices required. Ability to interpret and research system requirements, system specifications, input/output process and working parameter by using current systems engineering methods.
