Boston Scientific Service Materials Specialist in Arden Hills, Minnesota

About the role: This role is part of a rapidly growing global organization that is responsible to install Capital Equipment in hospitals and ensure support for the hospitals by providing Preventive Maintenance, Upgrades and Repair if required. Responsibilities within this role are the planning, procurement, oversight, documentation, and issue resolution of servicematerials and -tools, test and measurement equipment, FRUs and service disposables. The position will ensure service materials are forecasted, planned, procured, available, delivered, documented in the quality system, and available for use by the global technical service organization for installation and service activities. Analyzing global needs for service materials and reporting out to management / global technical services as needed, as well as driving process improvements and issue resolution are essential in this role. Key Responsibilities Supportsthe planning and organization of service materials needed to perform installation and service activities Responsiblefor documentation and records meeting quality system requirements for calibration specifications, calibration records, traceability of service materials, and issueresolution Analyzescomponent availability and inventory Procuresservice materials as required through established purchasing processes, workingwith the purchasing and procurement teams Executesand expedites service material delivery and preparation Executesshipping of service materials to service engineers globally Prepares,analyzes and distributes requested financial data on service materials Workswith the calibration team to ensure test and measurement equipment is returned per established calibration requirements globally Workswith service development engineering and MRP planners to ensure all service materials areavailable per service planning needs. Workswith training team to procure and track training equipment to ensure complete and working devices available for global courses Supportsthe sales operations with related tools and equipment programs SupportsFSEAI (Field Service Engineer Assigned Inventory) replenishment, cycle counts, reconciliation Performsissue resolution related to calibration through NCEP / CAPA system and drives improvement through VIPsystem Required Qualifications Education level: Higher vocational level Experience in planning and/or supply chain is essential Relevant working experience: 3-5 years Good knowledge of the English language Excellent communication skills Ability to perform in a multi-cultural environment Team player Flexible attitude Continuous improvement attitude Requisition ID:585431 As a leader in medical science for more than 40 years, we are committed to solving the challenges that matter most - united by a deep caring for human life.
