About the role Boston Scientific's Capital Equipment Commercial Excellence team is growing and is seeking an experienced Principal Sales Operations Analyst to support our analytic and reporting development efforts. We are seeking a skilled sales operations analyst who can create data visualizations and tools that will support multiple functions within Capital Equipment, including Executive Leadership. Working closely within the Strategy & Analytics team in Capital Equipment Commercial Excellence, this role is in charge of the development side of our analytical products, including user experience/user interface, to deliver data-driven solutions. This role is actively involved in the building process and is a crucial role in launching the final product of data visualization tools and technology. Your responsibilities will include: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and understand business needs for data, translate them into use cases, and prioritize a plan based on strategic goals and value. Bring business knowledge and context to data, while understanding the technical aspects of all source systems of data Create and manage appealing and interactive analytical tools that are used by the business, working individually and as part of a project team. Work with stakeholders to understand their data needs, turn them into data visualizations, and prioritize a plan based on strategic goals and value. Develop and manage business processes that enable a data driven culture Coordinate with data product managers and analysts to determine data requirements for project work, identify and resolve data inconsistency issues as they arise, help to prioritize critical defects and provide support and alternative solutions. Communicate clearly about project status, data insights, and technical concepts to business stakeholders, executives, and end-users. Suggest improvements to the data operating model, including governance, workflow, roles, and responsibilities necessary for effective and efficient delivery. What we're looking for in you: Bachelors Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, SoftwareEngineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field or equivalent experience 5+ years demonstrated experience analyzing data, data visualizations, and creating tools and reports. Develop and design interactive Tableau dashboards and reports to effectively tell the story of the business through data visualization, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and impactful insights for stakeholders. Proficiency in SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS). Ability to write complex queries, optimize performance, and extract insights from large datasets. Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Experience: Familiarity with tools like Snowflake or similar technologies is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to align stakeholders and develop strong relationships, coach stakeholders that are not digital-savvy and fully leverage their knowledge and support.
