Our client, a leading medical technology company, is seeking a passionate Designer IV to join their innovative team! You'll leverage your expertise in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to design and implement secure and reliable telemetry systems.

Job Title: Designer IV

Location: Arden Hills, MN

Pay Range: $ 62-67/hr

What's the Job?

  • Design and develop BLE telemetry systems for medical devices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and integrate BLE technology seamlessly.

  • Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate solutions for optimal BLE integration.

  • Create detailed technical documentation, including system architecture and interface specifications.

  • Develop algorithms and protocols for secure data transmission within the BLE system.

  • Perform system testing and verification to ensure proper functionality of hardware and software components.

  • Partner with vendors to source and evaluate BLE modules and components for the telemetry system.

  • Stay up-to-date on advancements in BLE technology and medical device regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Assist with regulatory documentation related to the BLE telemetry system design.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience designing and developing BLE telemetry systems for medical devices (or a related industry).

  • Strong understanding of BLE protocols, standards, and profiles.

  • Proficiency in software development using languages like C, C++, or Python.

  • Familiarity with wireless communication technologies and medical device regulations.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
