Wise Specialties Control Engineer in Aransas Pass, Texas
This position provides an opportunity to lead in the design and implementation of industrial control systems, ensuring top-quality performance.
- 3 years PLC programming and troubleshooting preferably with Allen Bradley products
- Plan and implement Safe automation systems to new and existing equipment to be compliant with regulations
- 2 years related work experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in Automotive
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, vision systems
- Knowledge of PLC networking and troubleshooting including with storage servers.
- Knowledge of Ignition software for data logging and data sharing
- Knowledge of Siemens, Rockwell/ Allen-Bradley PLC's, HMI's, VFD Drives and motors
- Siemens requirements:
- Profinet, Profibus networking and communication protocols.
- HMI programming/troubleshooting
- SIMATIC Step 7 software (TIA portal)
- Siemens SINAMICS VFD drives - programming and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of induction heating, SCR's, capacitors, buss bars etc.
*Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in control system design and implementation. Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), HMI/SCADA development, and industrial networking. Strong knowledge of electrical and control system design principles. Experience with CAD software for creating electrical schematics and panel layouts. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork skills. *
