The Field Service Technician II is responsible to install equipment at customer site, assist with sales opportunities, and repair equipment in our Voith facility. Responsibilities: Provide a safe work environment in the field, to heighten safety awareness amongst all Field Service Technicians. Perform work, supervised and unsupervised, in the field at customer\'s mill site. Collaboration with customer personnel planning onsite work. Set up and coordinating sales calls to new and existing customers. Collaborate with the Voith Sales Team on all opportunities for business. Provide solutions to customers. Participate in installation related discussions, in house or at customer site. Main responsibility is the installation of fiber systems equipment and parts. Organize tools and parts needed for field service activities. Follow up visits to complete any punch list items and complete the job for final acceptance by the customer. Continually look for improvements in materials, methods, and tooling required to complete field service and repair activities. If applicable, complete timely and accurate service reports, time records, and expense forms. Conduct or participate in meetings with managers, co-workers, and / or customers. Able to travel on a frequent basis within North America, occasional international travel will be required. Perform other duties as assigned such as in-house technical assistance for customers.
