Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Senior Software Developer in Appleton, Wisconsin. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and supporting a large enterprise solution in the Manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be tasked with providing technical expertise, producing high-quality, configurable, and maintainable software, and defining and documenting business systems requirements in partnership.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, and develop high-quality software solutions for the enterprise.

• Test software solutions to ensure functionality and efficiency.

• Provide technical expertise in the development and implementation of software solutions.

• Maintain accurate documentation of business systems requirements.

• Collaborate with various business units to define system requirements.

• Utilize skills in GitHub, Agile Scrum, API Development, ASP.NET, C# - Sharp, Entity Framework, Vue.js, and Microsoft Azure.

• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits.

• Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team.

• Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts, and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain business applications.

• Assist in the collection and documentation of user requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.

• Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.

Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Software Developer or a similar role in the Plastics Manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in using GitHub for version control and collaboration

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies for project management

• Strong understanding and experience in API development

• Expertise in ASP.NET for creating web applications

• Proficiency in C# programming language

• Experience with Entity Framework for data access

• Knowledge and experience in Vue.js for frontend development

• Experience with Microsoft Azure for cloud services

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
