MJ ELECTRIC LLC Project Manager Renewable Energy in APPLETON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Purpose:This position will be responsible for the supervising, directing, and coordinating the construction and associated project management of wind & solar projects. The Project Manager acts as the single point of management responsibility from project pre-planning to total construction administration services, participating in the development of processes, procedures, and systems to deliver projects to our customers on schedule and within budget. Essential Responsibilities *Work with the project team to oversee construction activity to ensure projects are constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule *Coordinate all aspects of job set up to incorporate MJE standards regarding safety, scheduling, document control plan, cost codes, job cost spread, material/tooling plan, billing, etc. *Interface with owner/client and on-site construction crews as required to ensure project safety, quality, project schedule and other milestones are met *Expected to forecast and report on project profitability while managing project budget *Work with the project team to plan and evaluate performance adjustments needed to stay within budget and on schedule for project completion *Work with field leadership to ensure the project has adequate resources to maintain schedule, budget, and exceed safety expectations *Quote change orders from drawing changes, RFI\'s, and customer requests and process accordingly *Interface with client/owner representative, IBEW union members. and subcontractors *Provide correspondence and present project expectations and status to field employees and clients in a group setting *Travel is required (minimum 25%) Knowledge \| Skills \| Abilities *Ability to work independently and meet deadlines *Ability to anticipate and meet internal customer needs *Proven communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills *Strong managerial/leadership skills *Ability to present to groups of 20-40 individuals *Knowledge of utility construction practices *Experience managing project financials *Extensive computer skills including familiarity with Access, Excel, and Outlook Qualifications *5+ years of Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or related experience in the utility construction industry *BS/BA in Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field preferred *Experience with union jurisdiction and labor agreements *Electrical construction expertise is preferred Work Environment *Must be able to remain standing approximately 50% of the time *Occasional bending, stooping, squatting, reaching,...
