JOB REQUIREMENTS: Production Manager - PRODU002068 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Summary: The main goal of the Production Manager is to maintain production flow to meet goals and customer demands. The Production Manager will work closely with his/her team to ensure quality and development of future leaders. A successful Production Manager will be able to communicate across multiple departments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Continuously strive to drive, improve, and monitor companywide KPI\'s: safety (6s), people, quality, cost of production, delivery/Inventory, continuous improvement, finance/cash, and commercial. * Research and analyze daily/weekly/monthly reports. Research efficiency, quality, and scrap rate to meet goals and standards. Provide appropriate coaching, direction corrective action to resolve issues. * Ensures employee and departmental compliance with all policies, procedures, values and mission. * Ensure that employee conduct is free from any form of harassment (sexual, racial, religious, etc.). Immediately reporting violations to supervisor or Human Resource Manager. * Administer and lead 8D problem solving process. * Administer and lead standardized work list. Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, forklifts and pallets. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Hearing protection is required in all production areas of the plant. The employee is occasionally exposed to hot, cold and rainy weather conditions. We also always require steel toed shoes and protective eyewear in the plant.
