The Electrical Apprentice - Level 1 is responsible for electrical installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the commercial and industrial settings. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Diploma or GED. Travel: 0-25% Work Schedule: Between the hours of 5 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Install maintain, and provide basic troubleshooting of electrical systems. * Installs electrical raceways and wire, lighting, controls, machinery, and electrical distribution equipment under the supervision of an experienced Journeymen Electrician. * Demonstrates appropriate skills of a First Year Apprentice. * Installs and Bends conduit using manual. Mechanical, and hydraulic benders. * Performs Wire and Cable Pulls. * Wiring - Stripping, splice two wires, install switch and receptacle, Draw 3 switches to control one light. * Knowledge of different types of anchors and supports and how to properly install. * Competent with a tape measure and level. * Knowledge of different sizes of conductors and phase colors of voltages. * Assists with material handling duties on the jobsite. * Provides technical assistance to other apprentices as needed. * Maintains compliance with company policies. * Maintains compliance with all OSHA, Company, and customer-specific safety requirements. * Cleans and maintains tools, test equipment, and jobsite. * Actively participates in Faith\'s hiring referral and mentoring program, as appropriate. * Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
