Looking to gain experience and knowledge in the Financial Services industry? We have a great opportunity for you with our client in Appleton, WI . Our client is seeking a Financial Services Representative to grow with them! This position is temp-to-hire.

While on a contract role with Kelly, you will be offered health, dental and vision insurance as well as Kelly Perks and Discounts.

Shifts Available:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Starting pay as a Financial Services Representative :

  • $19.00/hour

Position Information:

This position is located in a busy specialty medical practice in Appleton, WI. The Financial Services Representative works as a liaison to assist patients with account payments and coordinates all patient and insurance billings for the medical facility by performing duties such as:

  • Communicate with patients about their accounts via verbal and written correspondence.

  • Prepare surgical estimates.

  • Set up payment plans with patients.

  • Process patient credit card payments.

  • Work with attorney offices for resolution of patient accounts.

  • Review monthly delinquency report.

  • Refer delinquent accounts to collection.

  • Review bankruptcy notices.

  • Call insurance companies.

What kind of experience do you need to succeed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 1+ year of experience

  • Basic knowledge of insurance plans (HMO, PPO) contracts, claims and payment processes

  • Strong computer and telephone skills

  • Basic knowledge of medical office practices, terminology, and abbreviations

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
