City of Apple Valley Human Resources Manager in Apple Valley, Minnesota

Manages all functions of Human Resources/Payroll division. HR programs strategy development, administration of personnel policies/procedures, compensation and benefits program design and administration, payroll processing, budget preparation; contract and personnel administration, labor negotiations, staffing and recruitment, employee engagement, safety and health programs, job analysis and evaluation, and pay equity compliance. Schedule: FT, weekdays, exempt. Attends twice monthly evening meetings. Reports to: City Administrator. Starting Pay Rate: Within stated range, dependent on qualifications. Schedule: Full-time exempt, weekdays. Attends twice-monthly evening City Council meetings. Other: Offers of employment are contingent on successful result of background investigation.
