JAE Tech has an immediate need for an Industrial Maintenance Technician. The Industrial Maintenance Technician will trouble shoot, repair and maintain the electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic functionality of machinery and equipment such as, conveyor systems, robotic integrated CNC production lathes, grinders and spline cutting equipment by performing the following duties:
- Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
- Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Preventative Maintenance program -- maintain and upgrade system.
- Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery, equipment and facility needs.
- Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
- Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
- Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.

- Three (3) to Five (5) years' experience as a Maintenance Technician in an Industrial environment; experience in a CNC Machining environment is ideal
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machining equipment
- Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics.
- Must have demonstrated strong troubleshooting skills -- both Mechanical and Electrical
- Solid experience with PLC's
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have own "general" tools.
- Must be able to work 3^rd^ Shift and weekends, if needed
- Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds
Educational requirements:
High School diploma/GED preferred
Associates degree or Trade School graduate with training in a technical discipline a plus.
