JAE Tech has an immediate need for an Industrial Maintenance Technician.  The Industrial Maintenance Technician will trouble shoot, repair and maintain the electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic functionality of machinery and equipment such as, conveyor systems, robotic integrated CNC production lathes, grinders and spline cutting equipment by performing the following duties:

• Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
• Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
• Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts.
• Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
• Preventative Maintenance program -- maintain and upgrade system.
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery, equipment and facility needs.
• Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
• Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
• Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
• Fabricates and repairs counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.

• Three (3) to Five (5) years' experience as a Maintenance Technician in an Industrial environment; experience in a CNC Machining environment is ideal
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machining equipment
• Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics.
• Must have demonstrated strong troubleshooting skills -- both Mechanical and Electrical
• Solid experience with PLC's
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have own "general" tools.
• Must be able to work 3^rd^ Shift and weekends, if needed
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds

Educational requirements:

High School diploma/GED preferred

Associates degree or Trade School graduate with training in a technical discipline a plus.
