Job Description

Job Purpose: Ensure the correct demand is met for customers while optimizing inventories. Plan production to ensure optimal utilization of flow and resources. Procure components in the right quantity and at the right time using MRP-SAP, meeting inventory targets. Coordinate with Inbound & Logistics to ensure the arrival of raw materials and maintain dialogue with customer service regarding urgent orders and allocation.

Success Criteria:

• Achieve targets for Customer Availability & Reliability.

• Meet inventory value, days of inventory, and lead time goals.

• Ensure close collaboration with Global Order Management, Production, and Logistics.

• Enable production to manufacture with optimal productivity, proper staffing, and on-time deliveries.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Production Planning:

• Stock control of semi-finished and finished goods.

• Release planned orders and follow up on daily production output.

• Conduct S&OP analysis and schedule production in SAP.

• Maintain production master data and level production load.

• Outbound:

• Stock control and monitoring of global sales and availability.

• Confirm and deliver sales orders.

• Maintain close communication with fulfillment and outbound logistics to ensure good customer service.

• Inbound:

• Order raw materials based on expected demand.

• Confirm and follow up on orders.

• Maintain purchase master data and cooperate closely with suppliers.

• Global Communication:

• Ensure colleagues and stakeholders are updated and receive necessary information.

• Process Development and Optimization:

• Document, evaluate, and develop processes.

• Implement best practices to achieve world-class logistics.

Processes and Tools Used:

• SAP: ERP system for business handling.

• Outlook/Lync/WebEx: For internal and external communication.

• Excel, BW, SharePoint: Tools for planning and monitoring.

• SNC/EDI: For updating order confirmations with suppliers.

• Intranet: For internal document control.
