Who will you be working with?

As a production supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our production team of high seniority / skilled workers. You will be working with other production supervisors to meet our commitments and satisfy customer demands. You will be a facilitator for the production-related activities with other departments, which will result in achieving a high-quality product reducing process downtime.

  • Be a team player and solution provider; communicate and collaborate with cross-functional areas (EHS, Quality, Materials, Maintenance, Engineering)

What do we want to know about you?

  • Bachelor Degree : 80% of the credits completed or in progress with High school diploma

  • Able to read and communicate in English is preferred.

  • A minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing production environment with demonstrated leadership skills strongly preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with your team members and manage operations members.

  • Possess knowledge of working procedures and techniques utilized in a manufacturing environment.

  • Demonstrate good administrative, customer service, problem-solving and coordination skills.

  • Strong technical and troubleshooting ability.

  • Knowledge and implementation of LEAN techniques.

  • Self-starter; able to work in a highly demanding role.

  • Excellent attention to detail; excellent organizational skills with attention to task prioritization.

  • Take pride in your work, be passionate, reliable and enjoy your work.

  • Availability to work from 6pm to 6am.

What will your typical day look like?

  • Work with cross-functional team to accomplish goals and production schedule rate.

  • Understand, follow, and enforce all established EHS, quality, company policies, and procedures.

  • Drive safety culture within all operations team by executing EHS dialogs, observations, training and concerns, closed on time as regulatory required. Be an example of EHS focused leader.

  • Complete on time all EHS related audits and assessments (lifting, 5S, chemical mat)

  • Ensure product compliance by checking travelers validating they are signed off.

  • Responsible for traceability and identification of materials throughout manufacturing chain.

  • Initiate NCMR’s for any manufacturing issues and ensure completion prior to shipment.

  • Labor reporting, manage unionized manufacturing team, execution and needs.

  • Responsible for employee training, training matrix and records.

  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

  • Be a proactive actor of continuous improvement projects and initiatives.

  • Support and lead root-cause investigations.

What about the physical demands of the job?

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, talk and hear.

The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee will occasionally be required to hold meetings in office environment, join calls and attend specific on the job training.

Safety glasses, steel-toed safety shoes, protective sleeves (specific areas) and hearing protection must be worn for the entirety of the shift.

During day-day operations, weather conditions can be: expose to high temperature ranges during summer and cold temperatures on winter.

Manufacturing processes generate hot conditions that the employee must take care of.
