Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Field Service Technician to join our team in Korea! In this role you will get to be on the forefront of a dynamic software solution providing the military customer with powerful decision making capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Act as the primary on-site program point of contact for user questions and issues for customers across the Korean Peninsula.

  • Act as the primary on-site trainer for the software user base. Training consists of a full-day class for up to 20 personnel twice a week at various locations. Training frequency can increase to daily during times of high operations

  • Testing new software.

  • Occasionally perform server updates/system administration tasks under the guidance of senior off-site system administrators.

  • Manage user and group accounts within the software.

  • Work with customers to develop and recommend updates to Tactics, Technics and Procedures (TTPs) to fully utilize the solution capabilities and maximize application usage in the Korean Area of Operations.

  • Liaise with our team members around the globe to discuss new solutions and understand their applicability to the Korean customers.

  • Understand the Korean Theater's mission requirements and identify how our solutions support them.

  • Collect and document requirements from current and potential user communities.

  • Assist with deployment of updated software and solutions at fast-paced intervals.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active Secret security clearance.

  • Experience conducting or supporting military operations / exercises.

  • 5 + years of customer-facing experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong experience conducting a training environment

  • Strong public speaking skills

  • Experience on small, agile teams.

  • Ability to travel to customer sites (up to 3 hours away)
